What does "galvanic therapy" mean and do I need a device to use this? No device needed. In professional settings, galvanic refers to a low level electrical current applied to the skin to support ingredient absorption and circulation. What is a lamellar delivery system and why does it matter? Your skin barrier is built in organized flat layers of lipids, essentially the same way a croissant is layered. A lamellar system means the formula itself is built in those same organized flat layers, using an ingredient called Hydrogenated Lecithin that naturally assembles that way. Can this be layered with other active ingredients? On evenings you use this serum, avoid layering additional exfoliating acids or retinoids. Follow with a hydrating serum or barrier supporting moisturizer to support the skin through the treatment process.

Is this safe for dark skin tones? Bioherb Derma Plus contains HPR, a gentler retinoid, alongside barrier supporting and calming ingredients. Apply 3 to 3 drops to clean, dry skin. Using fingertips, gently press the serum into the skin using a pressing and patting motion. Do not rub or drag across the skin surface. Allow to absorb fully before applying additional products. Use 1 to 2 times per week in the evening. Always follow with broad spectrum SPF the following morning.

Each 25g bottle yields up to 10 treatment sessions. A small, concentrated dose per session is sufficient for effective delivery. 

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and lips. This product contains hydroxypinacolone retinoate (a retinoid) and sea sponge derived spicule technology. Do not apply to open wounds, active breakouts, or compromised skin. Discontinue use if persistent redness, stinging, or irritation occurs. Retinoid use is not recommended during pregnancy or nursing. Before first use, apply a small amount of KRX Bioherb Derma Plus Spicule Serum to the inner forearm and wait 24 hours. If no reaction occurs, proceed with use as directed. Discontinue use if irritation, redness, or sensitivity develops.
