Is this cream safe for acne prone skin? The Ami-Sterol Cream is best suited for dry, normal, and post-procedure skin. For acne prone skin we recommend the Dermathod Soba Calm Cream as an alternative, which is specifically formulated to support barrier repair without the heavier lipid profile that can contribute to congestion.

 

Can I use this cream every day? Yes. For dry or barrier impaired skin it works well morning and night as a daily moisturizer. For normal skin it is ideal as a nighttime recovery cream or any time skin feels stressed, dry, or tight.

 

What is the difference between Ami-Sterol Cream and Med Shield Epidermal Cream? Both are barrier repair creams from Dermathod. Ami-Sterol is richer and better suited for dry, mature, or post-procedure skin. Med Shield is formulated for a broader range of skin types.
