Can I use Dermathod Peel Pads every day? You can work up to daily use if your skin tolerates them well, but we recommend starting 2 to 3 times per week. PHA and LHA are gentler than traditional acids, but giving your skin time to adjust will always produce the best long term results.

Are these peel pads safe for sensitive skin? Yes. These are actually one of the best exfoliant options for sensitive skin specifically. PHA has a larger molecular structure than AHA, meaning it works at the surface level without penetrating too deeply. The slow release formula means there is no sudden spike of acid that can cause redness or irritation.

What is the difference between PHA, AHA, and BHA? AHA (like glycolic acid) exfoliates the surface but can cause irritation and sun sensitivity. BHA (like salicylic acid) goes deeper into pores but can be drying. PHA is the gentlest surface exfoliant that also hydrates, while LHA is a gentler, more targeted version of BHA. Together they give you the benefits of both without the downsides of either.

Can I use these if I have acne? Absolutely. LHA is especially effective for acne prone skin because it clears pore congestion and reduces buildup without over drying. Many clients with acne find these pads help keep breakouts at bay between facials when used consistently.

During or after use, if skin irritation such as redness, swelling, or itching occurs, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist. Do not use on open wounds. Keep out of reach of children and away from direct sunlight. Stop using immediately if you experience rash, inflammation, or allergic reactions. Avoid use around the eyes. Use the product immediately after opening. Apply sunscreen after use.

Patch Test: We recommend performing a patch test before first use. Apply a small amount to a discreet area, wait 24 hours, and discontinue use if irritation occurs.

After cleansing, gently wipe across the entire face with "embossing" or rough side to remove dead skin cells, avoiding contact with eyes. Then flip to  "silky " or smooth side to wipe once more for a final polishing touch and no need to rinse off. Leave it a minute to work its magic before applying your serum or moisturizer. Use Derma Priming Booster Pads one to three times a week. If skin can tolerate, you can use daily. Start once every two or three days to asses tolerance.
