Those with highly reactive skin should always patch test first and limit use to once per week when introducing this into their routine.

How is this different from a scrub or a chemical peel? Unlike physical scrubs, the enzymes in this mask break down dead cells chemically without any friction or abrasion. Unlike a traditional chemical peel, the enzyme activity is mild and self limiting, meaning it works at the surface without penetrating deeply. Can I use this before or after a professional treatment? This mask is best used in the days leading up to a professional treatment to prep and resurface the skin.
