Directions
Using the Dermathod O2 Peel
Think of the O2 Peel as a treatment that works best when you let it do the heavy lifting. Begin with a clean canvas—skin that’s been freshly washed and free of residue. Once your skin is ready, release a few pumps of the formula into your hand and smooth it evenly across the face, steering clear of the eyes.
Within moments, the peel begins to activate. You’ll notice a bubbling sensation as oxygen is released—this is where the spicules get to work. Instead of massaging, allow the formula to settle in by lightly pressing or patting it into the skin. The product is designed to remain in place, so there’s no need to rinse.
The tiny spicules continue their activity beneath the surface long after application. A prickly or tingling feeling is common, and can be present for several hours to a couple of days. This is part of the process that encourages renewal. During this time, keep your skin comfortable with a hydrating cream, and protect it with sunscreen if you’re heading outdoors.
The peel is generally introduced once a week, though some with resilient skin may choose to use it twice weekly. If your skin tends to be sensitive, spacing it out further is wise. Avoid combining it with other exfoliating products, and hold off on makeup until your skin feels calm again.
Disclaimer & Patch Test
Disclaimer: Individual results may vary. Products sold at Skin Accord are formulated by their respective manufacturers to support healthy, balanced skin, but sensitivity can occur when introducing new active ingredients.
If layering skincare from multiple brands, introduce one new product at a time and monitor how your skin responds. Using several potent actives—such as exfoliants, retinoids, or acids—within the same routine may increase the likelihood of irritation.
Patch Test: For first-time use, apply a small amount to a discreet area (such as the inner arm or behind the ear) and wait 24 hours before full application. If irritation, redness, or discomfort occurs, discontinue use.
Use as directed and discontinue if redness, stinging, or discomfort occurs. Skin Accord cannot assume responsibility for reactions that result from misuse, overuse, or combining incompatible products. Please consult a qualified medical professional if you experience persistent irritation.
By purchasing and using products sold at Skin Accord, you acknowledge that individual skin responses vary and agree to follow usage instructions carefully.
