Is this cleanser safe to use immediately after a facial treatment? Yes. The NeoGenesis Cleanser is formulated with a gentle, sulfate free surfactant and a pH considerate base that make it appropriate for use on recently treated skin. It removes residue and buildup without disrupting the skin's barrier, which is especially important during the post treatment recovery window when the skin is most vulnerable.

Can I use this to remove heavy makeup or sunscreen? This cleanser effectively removes everyday makeup, lightweight sunscreen, and daily buildup in a single cleanse. For heavy or waterproof makeup, a dedicated oil based first cleanse or micellar water may be beneficial before using this as a second cleanse to ensure thorough removal without over working the skin.

Does this cleanser have any exfoliating effect? The lactic acid in this formula is present at a low level for pH balancing purposes rather than as an active exfoliant. In a rinse off cleanser, the contact time is too brief for significant exfoliation. Over time it may contribute to a smoother skin texture, but this is not a treatment cleanser and will not cause sensitivity or peeling.

Is this suitable for dry or sensitive skin? Yes. The formula was designed with sensitive and barrier compromised skin in mind. It contains no sulfates, no harsh detergents, and no synthetic fragrance.
