What is this facial?

The Oxy Spicule Glow Facial is an at home Korean treatment created by Skin Accord so you can maintain your glow between esthetician treatments or spa facials. The O2 Tox Peel combines oxygen infusion, spicules, and actives like Centella Asiatica, Niacinamide, and Peptides to calm, brighten, and boost absorption. The Dermathod Peel Pads add gentle exfoliation with PHA, antioxidants, and soothing botanicals for fresh, radiant skin. Together, they create an easy, spa inspired ritual that keeps your complexion smooth, bright, and healthy between visits.

This treatment was designed exclusively at Skin Accord for our clients to use in between professional treatments, helping extend your results and keep your skin in balance at home.

Indications

This protocol is recommended for:

• Dull, lackluster skin needing a radiance boost

• Mild congestion or clogged pores

• Uneven skin tone and texture

• Skin that feels dehydrated or fatigued

• Pre-event glow prep (non-invasive, no downtime)

Not recommended if skin is currently inflamed, has open wounds, or if you are actively using prescription acne or retinol products unless cleared by your provider.

Facial Steps 

Step 1: Cleanse – Begin with Derma Revive Cleansing Gel to gently remove impurities, oil, and makeup. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. You can also use the Dermathod Morning Moist Touch Foam Cleanser or KRX Anti-Acne Wash for acneic skin

Step 2: Dermathod Peel Pads  – Remove the Dermathod Peel Pad from the package and start with the rough side, gently rubbing over areas needing the most exfoliation (such as blackheads, rough patches, or dry areas). Then sweep the pad across the entire face. Flip to the smooth side and rub evenly over the face. Gently massage for about 5 seconds and let the solution sit for 3 to 5 minutes before moving to the next step. Do not rinse off.

Step 3: Dermathod Revive Triple Action Mask  – Remove the Dermathod Revive Triple Action Mask from the package and apply the face sheet first, ensuring the serum is fully saturated into the skin. Then apply the smaller neck piece. Leave on for 15 minutes, then remove. Do not rinse off. Gently massage the remaining serum into the skin until absorbed.

Step 4: O2 Tox Peel – Pump 3 to 4 drops into your hands and apply evenly to the skin. Wait for the spicule serum to bubble up, then begin gently pressing into the skin, focusing on areas such as acne, blackheads, and dark marks. Pat the serum in until fully absorbed. Leave on and do not rinse off.

Step 5: Protect with SPF – If performing this facial during the day, finish with Perfect A Solar Elixir Sunscreen to shield and protect your results. Optional for Dry, Normal, or Dehydrated Skin: Apply a nourishing cream before SPF for extra hydration, such as Ami Sterol Cream or Dermathod Meso Shield Epidermal Cream.

Post Facial Care & Considerations

• Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds for at least 24 hours.
• Always wear SPF during the day to protect your results.
• Do not use additional exfoliants, scrubs, or retinoids for 48 hours.
• Keep skin hydrated with a gentle moisturizer or serum.
• Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and hot yoga for 24 hours.
• Minor redness or tingling is normal and should subside quickly.
• For best results, repeat this protocol once weekly.
